The National Hockey League (NHL®) is launching two new fan engagement initiatives today as part of the League’s continued commitment to help hockey fans stay connected to players and the game. Greatest Moments of the 2019-20 NHL Season…So Far fan vote program and Live NHL Player Q&As will offer hockey fans daily interactive experiences via the NHL’s Twitter and Instagram social media channels. Watch the trailer here.

Starting today at noon ET, hockey fans can vote for the Greatest Moments of the 2019-20 NHL Season…So Far. This daily bracket-style, social media program will give fans the opportunity to choose from 64 of the season’s most memorable events, milestones and achievements to determine the fan-favorite moment of the 2019-20 NHL season to date.

The six rounds of voting begin today, with fans casting their votes daily via the NHL’s Twitter and Instagram Stories channels. The bracket-style interactive format features 64 video moments that are divided among the Eastern Conference and Western Conference. Head-to-head matchups will be unveiled daily at noon ET, giving fans one day to cast votes to advance their selection into the next round. The winning moment will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Also beginning today is the first of daily Live NHL Player Q&As. Every weekday (Monday-Friday) at 3 p.m. ET, one NHL player will take over the @NHL handle on Twitter or Instagram for a live Q&A with fans. @NHL on Instagram will host a question & answer session today with Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak. Participating players will be announced one day in advance on both platforms.

Fans who visit NHL.com and the League’s official YouTube channel will find a curated collection of NHL Original Productions content, including critically-acclaimed, behind-the-scenes programs “Road to the NHL Winter Classic,” “Behind The Glass” and “NHL All Access”; full-length classic NHL games dating from the 1950s to present day; 2019-20 season snapshots featuring memorable moments for each of the League’s 31 teams; profiles on top rookies and draft prospects; a look back at top Stanley Cup® Playoffs and Stanley Cup® Final moments; and free access to stream full replays of games from the 2019-20 regular season accessible via the scores and schedule pages of NHL.com and the NHL app and in Canada via NHL LIVE.
